I Montmartres serie af intim-koncerter med verdens absolutte jazz-giganter præsenterer vi i juli under Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2025 en af jazzens største guitarister, John Scofield.

John Scofield er et uomgængeligt navn i nyere jazzhistorie som en af vor tids vigtigste jazzguitarister. 

Siden 1980?erne har Scofield indspillet mere end 30 plader, heriblandt samarbejder med stjerner som Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden, Eddie Harris, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Bill Frisell, Brad Mehldau, Mavis Staples, Government Mule, Jack DeJohnette, Joe Lovano og Phil Lesh og med jazzlegender som Tony Williams, Jim Hall, Ron Carter, Herbie Hancock, Joe Henderson og Dave Holland.

John Scofield medbringer tre forrygende musikere, der er store oplevelser i sig selv i denne særlige hyldest til lange dage: John Medeski på piano, Vicente Archer på bas og Ted Poor på trommer.
